Anna is a New York City based professional dancer and educator with over 23 years of experience. Growing up in Cincinnati, she studied extensively in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Clogging, lyrical and Modern, as well as training in depth in Ballet at the College Conservatory of Music and the Cincinnati Ballet. Anna went on to obtain a Bachelor of Performing Arts from Oklahoma City University. While there, she studied extensively in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Voice, as well as dance pedagogy. Since graduation, Anna has worked regularly as a professional dancer and teacher.
Most recently, Anna was seen around the world in both the International and National tours of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. She completed over 2,000 jump kicks across North America, South-East Asia, Europe and the Middle East as a dancing napkin and understudied the role of Babette. Anna’s previous favorite credits include, the inaugural cast of Scrooge No More, Directed and Choreographed by Broadway’s Lisa Shriver, performing internationally with some of the world's greatest circus performers in Le Grande Cirque, and dancing on ice in Spirit Productions Christmas on Ice.
As an educator, Anna teaches at various studios, workshops and master classes across the country; including RYSA: The Refugee Youth Summer Academy in partnership with ASTEP and the IRC. Anna is a firm believer that with the power of hard work, determination and a whole lot of kindness, anything is possible.
