Kaitlyn Davis - Motivated Movers

Kaitlyn Davis

Kaitlyn Davis is a singer, actress, musician, and potato chip enthusiast, who was born and raised in New York. She started college at age 16 and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Hofstra University, and a Master of Music in Opera from Rutgers University. She has performed on stage both nation wide and internationally, and was on Law&Order: SVU (“Crush”).

Kaitlyn won the Emerging Talent Award from the Kurt Weill Foundation's 2016 Lotte Lenya Compeition, and began touring with The Phantom of the Opera the same year. She played Christine Daaé for Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber at the Kennedy Center, Sir Richard Stilgoe at the Denver Center, and performed Phantom excerpts for former Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State John Kerry at the U.S. State Department. Other credits include shows with the John W. Engeman theatre (Aladdin, Seussical), and the Baltimore Concert Opera (Lakmé). Kaitlyn will be releasing her first solo E.P. of original music, “You Got Me” in 2018.

When she is not performing or auditioning, she teaches voice and piano lessons to students of all ages, writes music, and makes silly videos with her soon to be husband, pretending to be middle aged Long Island parents who struggles with technology. “All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you”.
